.224 seating stem ?

I have a Redding competition seating die with the VLD seating stem. Works great on 85.5 gr .224 Bergers but has very inconsistence depth when using 90 gr Bergers. Seems the VLD stem does not fit the 90 gr Bergers.

Define "very inconsistent" please....

I have the VLD seating stem on my LE Wilson chamber dies and it has about 3 to 4 thousands of variation on 85.5 bergers

I worked there. As fast as we could design and fabricate stems for VLD, the VLD offerings changed....

Tried to hit a happy middle, but yes, sometimes they don't fit every bullet

I have not checked run out,the issue is in OAL. Yes it looks like the nose is bottoming on the stem.
Is there a different seater that fits the 90 gr.224 Berger better?
