.224 85g Barnes match burners?

Has any one used these in a bolt action rifle (.223/5.56) for long range? I was thinking of giving them a go. How well they group /barrel twist, lot to lot consistency?

I tried them a little. They have a really long bearing surface. They shot ok, just couldn't get any velocity out of them

No experience with the 85s, but having shot 105 and 140s in .243 and .264, the Matchburners are a good economical target bullet. The BC isn't going to blow you away, and there is going to be more variance bullet to bullet than what you'd expect from a Berger or Sierra, but they're a solid bullet. Been thinking about picking some 85s up to try in a 224 Valkyrie gas gun for shooting steel.
