That is interesting. I have seen many different rifle and bullet combos that would blow up bullets and it is amazing that they all seemed to go up in smoke at about 30 or 40 yards.fredhorace77 said:I don't understand the physics behind it but I've has a 50gr. sierra BK out of a 22-250AI come apart at 120yrds. I missed 2 yotes one at 140yrds. the other at 200yrds. close enough that I should of hit both. went back to my target and placed it at 200yrds. and there was no bullet. i finally figured out that it was blowing up at about 120yrds. so if ur pushing fast and you're worried about it don't forget to check and make sure the bullet is staying together at the distances you plan on shooting. I don't understand why it wasnt blowing up at say 10yrds.or 20yrds. but it held together till 120yrds.
