.223AI feeding???

I know this had been beaten to death before, but i haven`t found much on this particular angle, so i`m asking.....


Rem. 700 with an A.I. detatchable box mag.

Does it feed the .223AI????


Seems,to me,that this stands the best chance of working, i am looking for confirmation, one way or the other....

What sayeth the masses.......

i have a 223ai setup using a rem action, CBI barrel, and a PDC chassis that feeds the rounds via an AICS mag. If i run the bolt hard and fast...they seem to load fine. If i run the bolt very slow and precise, then they will generally hang up. They will never feed as good as a regular 223, due to the sharp and abrupt shoulder...but maybe a coned bolt would help.

Feeds beautifully in my Savage 110 223AI using CDI Savage LA/308 mag DBM and AI polymer 223 magazines with 80gr A-Max.
