25 and a half-ish grains of Xterminator with 50grain ballistic tips, Vmaxes, soft or hollow points gets about 3450fps out of a 26 inch barrel. If you have it on hand, use it. No need to look for another powder.

For the light bullets (40's)- Accurate LT32 is pretty hard to beat in most rifles we (my buddies and I) have tried it in. TAC can work pretty good with the 50-55 weights, as can 8208XBR (we run 23.0-24.1 with 50's) and Reloader 7 (we run 21.9 with V-Max). The LT32 is a bit pricy, but normally available. Great stuff. For 40's, LT-32, W748. Your TAC might really like 50-grain Varmint Grenades with 25.5 Also the Barnes MPG 55 with 23.1. - 23.9. It is wicked in a couple of the rifles. We found TAC to work much better with unleaded bullets than leaded in our rifles, so if you have any - give them a try. Use Barnes OAL recommendation and don't try to get them close to the lands, as they don't shoot too well that way as a rule. Work up - especially with the RL7.

Isn’t Tac & varget for mostly heavy bullets & terminator for light bullets ?

Broadly, yes. Tac and varget are slower burning than terminator.

What bullets? What platform? I’ve got a 20” remington tactical and shooting 75gr bthp and n540 I get 3000fps. I was up over 3200fps. I generally stick with cfe223. But have been wanting to get into the Vihtavuori powders some. I use that load at the range on steel. I don’t know what brass life I can expect running that way. Granted it’s only about 200fps faster. But still. I’m running starline brass
