.223 Tactical Pistol

IMG_0330.JPG Just finished my new tactical pistol today, chambered in .223R with a 16" barrel. It is built on a Savage Striker Action in an ARS Chassis topped off with a Sightron Slll 6-24x50 FFP scope. Weight as pictured is 10.5lbs.

Looks good. Just do not put it on SP - they will not know what it is!!!

Here's a quote from the OP that's on another site;

"I agree anything 16 or longer should not be considered a pistol but instead a specialty rifle without a butt stock. However I do agree with you Ernie that if you desire a 17, 18, 20 or even a 26 barrel, by all means build it, just don't call it a pistol."

If you want to get technical my barrel length is 15-7/8 and I still agree with that statement.

Nah, he just made a mistake on the first post thats all. But thanks for trying to start crap. I really appreciate your consistency.

It doesn't matter what some think it should be. It's a handgun. A 1911 is a pistol. Rifles have a shoulder stock and are fired from the shoulder. :)
