.223 Service Rifle build, load selection

I'm starting an AR15 service rifle build for silhouette (mainly) and possibly some 3x600 prone shooting. Barrel will be either Wilson match or Shilen 20" hbar 1:7. I plan to shoot only heavy bullets and am wondering if there are any known good combos to start with and then develop once I get it done. Chamber will be Wylde too.

I know many people use 24gr of RE15 or Varget with any of the 80gr bullets seated just off the lands, about 2.475" in the Wylde chamber. I had better results with 23gr of H4895 than either of those. I've heard that 8208 works well but not used it, probably something like 22.5 is a good place to start. whichever of these powders you use just don't get velocity greedy and you should see good accuracy.

John Holliger of White Oak Armament recommends RE15, 4895 or Varget on his website.

I use re15 and 75bthp hornadys in my compass lake with 7.7 krieger. I use LC brass in their special chamber and it shoots like a br gun when i slap a scope on it for testing
