223 Rem SPS Tact

Thinking of getting a Rem 223 SPS tactical.

Who can tell me about them?

Average group size, Trigger, load, etc?

Multi purpose 200 yd from bench, standing and sitting at 100 yd.

Not a bad price in the mid $500s

FWIW,

I have the SPS varmint (26") that I stuck in a B&C light tactical stock. 55 grain Ballistic tips over 27.1 to 27.4 grains of Varget get me right about 3400 fps with the hotter load and well under 0.5 MOA to 400 yards. It shoots better than my custom gun...which is pretty annoying in a way.

The first thing I would do if you decide to upgrade is get it out of that factory SPS stock.

I was skeptical of the SPS and Remington in general because of all the bad press I read for a while. I bought two of them and they both shoot amazing.
