223 Match load es/sd ?

I just switched from varget to rl-15 and was wondering what you guys are seeing for es/sd. 77smk ,23.5 varget, FederalGM match primers and my es was in the 20's.

Not ran the rl15 over the chrony yet but they seem to group better at 300.

Ran the Gold medal match primers for years. Thinking I need to try the cci br primers?

I use REM 7-1/2 primers and RE-15 with 77gr lapua. I can keep them at a SD of 8-12 or better, they like a clean barrel it seems after 40 rounds it gets a bit flake not really sure why.

I feel that you will see smaller numbers with the Tula Small Rifle Magnums over the BR's. I did, been using them for years now. They used to be listed as Wolf primers. You will find that they are a lil harder to get seated because they go in rather tight. They are in stock at Powder Valley. I love them, esp the price!

I went in search of some russianprimers locally and came up empty. Did pick up some N140 and BR4 primers to try out. Allready got some loaded up waiting on range session.

Got varget, rl15,n140 loaded and ready. Will pick up some tula primers when I reorder supplies from powder valley.

My RL15 was from a new batch and with the usual load for this gun nd the BR4 primers it was 3/4 5 shot group of es 40 sd 16 .

I know ten shots are better, but if it wont do five....
VV N140 24.1 grains es 20 and sd 8
300 yards I held 1.25" vertical and 1.5" horizontal for ten shots!
Very pleased with that!
2880 fps from 24" krieger and 77 smk
