None around here anymore!!
Been playing with Staball match and light bullets (40grn vmax) though the temp stability would come i handy shooting pdogs.
found out the most you can get in a ackley case is 30.5 and still seat a bullet…..
topped out at 3450fps……..my H335 load of 29.5 gets me 3700 but it swings with temps
this is out of a 18” barrel, 1-9 twist

I have a Savage LRP action w/Kreiger 1-14 twist barrel that shoots 40 Bergers very well. 4049-4100 fps

I have recently had a 223AI built on Tikka action. 26" Med Palma Contour with a 1:7.5 twist. Have been playing with Berger 80gn VLDs and Hornady 75gn ELD-Ms for application in F-open and other long range disciplines.
Have settled on loads generating:
80gn VLDs - approximately 2913fps with an SD of 10 (26gn ADI2208)
75gn ELD-Ms - approximately 3106fps with SD of 11 (26gn AD2206H)
Keen to try the Sierra or Berger 77gn offerings given performance above. Rapidly becoming my new favorite caliber
