222 Rim

I found the info on them, you use the same shellholder as a 357 Mag. Got three boxes of brand new brass.
Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.

That's a selling point right there!! LOL
Berdan are rough on de-priming pins

Anybody got a set of dies for these besides our Aussi friendsView attachment 1230471View attachment 1230472View attachment 1230473
I have a 14" TC barrel in .222 that I machined rim clearance to shoot rimmed brass. I use standard .222 dies with a .357 mag shell holder. I shot necked down .357 Max brass for years. Found 80 pieces of Super brand brass at Indy 1500 gun show years ago. I should have annealed necks as most have split after several firings. I would be glad to take these off your hands for a reasonable price if you don't have a use for them.

With the way things are right now what is reasonable, I'm cheap. PM me , there's 60 total, 3 boxes, we'll
work a deal.

My wife inherited a D. Frasier drop block rifle chambered in .222 RIM (5.7×43mmR). Along with the rifle, we have one (1) box of 19 Rounds of what looks like reloads with one (1) spent cartridge, and five (5) boxes of spent brass all in the original boxes as pictured in the OPs first post. For years I've admired the rifle and am not just starting to think about using it. Before I do, I would like to be sure I have a way to reload if I enjoy the firearm.

SO even with the Rim on the .222 RIM, the .222 Remington Dies work as long as you use the .357 shell holder? The brass if fully worked in the resizing die to return the neck for seating the bullet?

I was reading up and I've been directed to CH4D or Redding to ask for a special Die as the standard .222 Remington dies are not compatible.

Just looking to verify here before I go out and purchase a set of Remington .222 Dies and a .357 Shell holder :)
