222 Finisher reamer for a 223 project

Any body knows if we can chamber a 223 with a 222 reamer. Some people has told me so but want to have some more info about this. Thanks

Another no..A .223 is not a long .222. Even on cartridges that are long versions of their parent cartridge, the big end can only get bigger if you run the reamer in deep due to case taper. This is not how it's properly done. --Mike

I think the 222 neck is longer..LT

The .223 case is definately longer than the 222 case, but the main reason you could not just run it in farther is that the shoulders are different.
