221 fireball

got 221 fireball the other day. it's a cooper model 21. it's so nice. got a bunch of reloader 10x and want to use it to reload ammo. can't find any info. anyone have an idea? using 50 grainers.

The only advice I would give is call Alliant to see if they have any unpublished data or guidelines to provide. There are a lot of good powders out there for the 221, Lil Gun, H4227, Accurate1680, RL 7 to name a few.

Here are a few loads for 50 grain bullets that should move you in the right direction

14 grains of Alliant 2400 will produce velocities of around 2,425 ft/sec
13 grains of Hodgdon H4227 will produce velocities of around 2,629 ft/sec
19 grains of Hodgdon H322 will produce velocities of around 2,703 ft/sec
13 grains of Hodgdon Lil'gun will produce velocities of around 2,835 ft/sec

This should get you started
