I am posting this in both the small stuff and the reloading forum. Lately I have tried to obtain a Lee collet die for a 221 Fireball. They do not make one so I decided to have one custom made as I had done with my 6mmBR. In a phone call to Lee I was informed that a collet die could not be made because the case is too short. They do have a collet die available for the 22 Hornet and the cases, for all intents and purposes, are the same length. In fact, the Fireball is just a touch longer. My question to all of you is, do you think that a 22 Hornet collet die will work or has anyone tried a 22 Hornet collet die on a 221 Fireball? Thanks to any help you can give.
