221 Fireball brass for 20 Vartarg

Who is making 221 Fireball brass now? Seems hard to find online, seeing Remington and maybe Nosler but not sure if one or both have been discontinued since they seem to be out of stock everywhere I've looked. Looking for brass to form into 20 Vartarg.

Keep in mind, turned or unturned necks. Get YOUR chamber set so it makes no difference!!
Had issued with fired and unfired converted to 20 VT. Got a reamer with the proper neck size and NO MORE issues. Better to be pulling the trigger than turning necks ANY DAY!!!

All 3 that sell brass they make on here will turn necks to whatever you want.
The Rem, Nosler and Norma 221 fireball brass will all work in a .232 or .233 neck, Lapua is a different ball game you need atleast a .235 nk and bigger base to avoid clickers.
In my opinion even if you could find Lapua 221 fireball brass the squeeze isn't worth the juice, ive had excellent luck making my own from LC223 brass

My 20VT brass was all formed from R-P, Nosler and Lapua 221FB cases. But if I wanted more at this point in time, I'd just have Doug (CZKid) make it for me. His stuff is spot-on in all regards, and he'll turn it to your chamber neck spec's.

His prices are reasonable as are lead times and the finished product is about perfect. No more hassle trying to find factory 221FB brass too, as most times it's like looking for chicken lips. ;)

Well, don’t try to form 221 Fireball from new 223 Starline brass..at least with the batch number I have. Tried 2 pieces with my Redding form die, and 2 pieces ended up in the trash can. It buckled the bodies. The Lake City/Winchester brass works wonderfully for me.

Check with MOAxp, he might have some.

I'm in the process of forming 1,000 20 VT brass from new Starline right now. Haven't lost one with this batch or the previous batch. I'm using a Bullberry form die that takes it down in 3 steps. I'm also using a 10:1 lanolin mix applied liberally.

Being new, it's amazing how many opinions go out over the good, bad and ugly on in this case brass. I know we all have input, but it always comes down to doing your homework and following your gut instincts!

We all have different budgets to work within, some no limit, others a strict limit. We all end up doing what best works for us, based on the knowledge of ALL that share their experiences.

I have a couple mentors on here that I lean on usually before I make any final decisions.

At least for me.
