40 grains H380, 55 grain vmax, fed match primer. Slow, but accurate

Nosler or hornady 210m primer. Work up slowly

One rifle likes IMR4064 and the other likes RL15. Both max charges with 55 nosler BT .010" off the lands. F210M primer, winchester cases.

39.0 Gr's IMR-3031, 40Gr. Hornady V-Max. Russian KVB-7 Primer, Winchester Case. Approx. velocity: 4300 fps. 26" 12 twist barrel. Major damage on Ground Hogs. Very Accurate. Always loved the swift!

I’ve burned a lot of 4064 in my Swifts.
I think this one was killed using a stiff charge of H414 and a Sierra 55 spbt.

For Many a Year I have been shooting my go to load as follows:
220 Swift 0.224 , 1 in 14" Twist With a Sierra 55 gr.H.P. Boat Tail # 1390 , REM. Case, CCI Benchrest BR2 Primer - 0.185 Bal Co. , IMR 4064 ,37.1 grs. @3646 fps get me 3/8" H x 1/4" W @ 100 yds.

My only ever Swift was 700 Classic in the early 90's. It was about a 3/8" gun, not bad for a factory sporter. The load was 44.5 / 2700 / Rem 9-1/2/ 50Nos. BT. Don't know the velocity, I didn't have a chrono back then. I liked the 22-250AI better and sold that. gun.

Remington brass
CCI200
46.0grs A2700
52gr Nosler Custom Comp. moly'd
4100fps with suppressor measured by a magnetospeed v3.
1/4" groups at 100yds.

work up to this load. Its right at the edge 46.5 had a slight stiff bolt.

Rl-17 load:
45grs of Rl-17
50gr Sierra BK moly'd
remington brass
CCI-200
4068fps without the can. It got threaded after this.

At one time I had 4 swifts in the shooting rotation. now, maybe, I take one out on chuck shooting trip and the other doesn't even have a scope on it anymore. I like to shoot a lot of rounds at sage rats and prairie dogs, If I try to do that with a swift, I don't always see the hit and the barrel starts to melt. don't get me wrong I still love my swifts. My current favorite remington 40x single shot, 43gr of h380 50bt gets 4087 fps. have fun

My 40x Swift loves Bart’s 52gr. ultra fb. Shot a lot of 22 cal. bullets and found this one to be cuts above anything else. With 37.3gr. of IMR 4064 and a BR 2 primer and Norma brass, she shoots consistently in the low ones and high zeros. Good luck with your loading!

I run 38gr of Varget with a 50gr vmax or 50gr Nosler BT with Winchester brass and CCI standard LR primers. Never put the gun over the chrony, but it shoots flat and accurate. Every time I get the rifle out it rolls a fox or 2.

The Berger match 52 or 55g over H414 was consistently sub .5 moa in my 40X

W-W brass, WLR primer, 38.2 grs of imr-4064 and a 52 gr amax. 3850fps. Will shoot .25 MOA. Out to 300 if I can do my part. And smokes ground hogs!

41 grains of H-380, CCI std LRP, Norma case here with a 52 grain Winchester (old stock)BTHP. Accurate not exceptionally fast but the groundhog doesn't know that..

50gr Vmax or 50gr Nosler BT, 38gr or Varget with CCI standard LR primer and Winchester cases. Not sure on speed, but foxes never complain.
