220 swift chambering

I just had my Remington 220 bdl rebarreled. I have tried the MDT magazine and the AI magazine, but I am having a very hard time feeding a round. Does anyone have any secrets to share on how to resolve this?

I read where one guy put a ramped shim in his magazine and another ground down the feed ramp. does either of these ideas sound viable

Sometimes it helps to offset the rims.
The bottom round goes all the way to the rear, the next one sets alittle ahead ,the third ahead alittle more.
