220 Russian availability?

It’s more of a curiosity. Because I have several boxes on reserve, But I notice that 220 Russian is out of stock everywhere. I know it was not one or the cartridges that Lapua was not suspending production of, but is it because of the threat to Finland that Lapua is supplying there military first?

More like the threat of the current WH regime on us- i.e. 2nd A, economic, environmental, judicial issues. they seem to be able to enact laws instantaneously. Companies are reluctant to tie up much money in inventory for fear their products will be further taxed, regulated or outright banned.

Not sure about the corporate world but in my little world, inventory is taxed just like income. Everywhere, the new business model seems to be to run very lean on inventory, and has been that way for a good long while now. That bit us all pretty hard with covid. The slightest and simplest hiccup in the supply chain stopped production up the chain and on many products. That could be prevented by forward thinking politicians(oxymoron) and businessmen but as taxes increase, I don't see it changing much without something that relieves small businesses from a heavy tax burden on top of being out of pocket for inventory.

It’s a new age post Covid. I’ve told all of my customers I’m hardly inventorying anything and going to an order when needed basis and they’ll have to wait from now on. They understand why and will live with the situation. Not getting burned again from all those bozos decisions and stupid mandates.

On Face book F-class page several offered me R 220.
I got 200. I see hate to quote a price for them ...

I purchased a few a month or two ago from online vender which had several in stock. Forming some for 22ppc and decided to get another 100 to form and couldnt find anywhere new, but did find some in the classifieds on here. All Lapua dont know if they are the only ones who make 220 are not? Russkies may be buying all up!
