Does anyone know the working chamber pressures of the 22 tcm cartridge? I am looking into a conversion and can't find any info on pressures or limits for the cartridge. Thanks

It will be in the same pressure class as the 9mm Luger and 40 S&W - around 35,000 psia. But since there is no way to measure it, it is kinda moot!

I'm assuming he meant SAAMI.

To the OP, there is a lot of good info on the following link regarding the 22TCM: http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=391167&page=16

There are a couple of wildcatters experimenting with the 22 TCM necked down to 20 and 17 caliber versions on Saubier.com site. And apparently the February 2015 issue of Shooting Times will have an article on loading for the 22TCM.

Maybe I should be more specific.

Saw the rifle (22tcm)
Saw the magazine and immediately tried to load some 10mm rounds .
They fit and look good.

Now I want a high capacity bolt action 10mm

The bolt face has plenty of room to be opened up and the extractor will work.

Will the receiver handle the bigger round? Will my lust be fulfilled ? Will the rifle that has just hit the market fall prey to some jerk in North Dakota that can't leave well enough alone?

Thanks for the links , good reading
