What’s your purpose? That will dictate your need. When shooting the .22 LR platform which is better to go with a MOA scope or a MRAD scope?
Steel & out to about to 400 ydsWhat’s your purpose? That will dictate your need.
At that distance the adjustment measure unit won’t matter. What will matter is a scope/base combination that will allow you to get there.Steel & out to about to 400 yds
I ran out of scope at about 350 with 20 moa rail. looking at a different scope possibly and maybe a 30 moa rail. The clicks on a moa scope are finer than a mil scope. 1/4 or 1/8 (for target scope) vs a bit over 1/3 inch at 100 for a mil scope. At 400 yards a .22 is a lot like a mortar shot.
Or try higher BC projectiles. Much higher.I ran out of scope at about 350 with 20 moa rail. looking at a different scope possibly and maybe a 30 moa rail.

One of the great things about the SWFA fixed Powers is the parallax adjustment being about to get down to 10 yards, makes for fun rimfire shooting on paper at an affordable price. Built like a tank and every one I’ve ever had tracked perfectly. You might take a look at SWFA SS scopes. They come in both mil and moa versions and have a lot more adjustment than your average scope. I can't remember for sure but it is something like 140 moa. On top of that they are a screaming good scope for not much money. It's hard to find a bad review on them.
I’m not sure, I know they are made in Japan. They started off as military contract scope and have been around a long time. I’m talking about the fixed powers.Who actually makes SWFA's scopes, and where?
