22 rimfire unburnt powder

I recommend changing ammo brand and seeing if you have better results ( results more to your liking that is). If the rifle is shooting well I don't see the problem. Unburnt powder should not be a big deal in and of itself. I can't imagine any way for you to influence the powder burn rate and/or complete burn. If the barrel has "loose" spots there is nothing you can do to put metal into the loose/bulge area.

I hate to be a snob but if I had a "CUSTOM" 10/22, the last ammo I would be firing in it is Remington Yellow Jacket - IMO, it's crap. A quality weapon deserves quality ammo, at least mid-grade ammo such as Wolf, CCI, SK, etc.
