any one shooting this round at ground hogs.if so what are your faverate loads.

At one time I was a fanboy of the Ruger M77VT rifles. I ended up with both 6mmppc and 22ppc. The way my mind works is that I HAD to add NO.1 rifles in the same calibers! I have never killed or shot at a woodchuck with the 22ppc NO.1. It has been quite awhile since I have loaded any ammo but I love the HORNADY SPSX bullets for <200 yards which is most of the shooting in my area

I shoot the 22PPC in UBR competitions, using the 55 grain @prologr bullet with 28.8 grains of N135 3550 fps, this is out of a custom BAT DS, not sure how it would work in a factory gun but it shoots!!

I have a unfired sako bench rest rifle in 22 ppc, been in my safe a long, long time. Does anybody know what this gun might be worth?

I shoot the same 135 load in my 22 PPC. I am a shot range BR shooter, and just recently. tryed 135, (had always used 133 or H-322) and was pretty impressed with the 135. I don't think there is really much difference between 133 and 135. I am shooting the 100 yd. stage with the rifle at Tacoma Rifle and revolver Club this Saturday. If good 22 conditions, I might scare the 6 PPC guys, and yes I shoot the 6PPC mostly too. I don't shoot p-dogs at all, just BR.
