22 PPC Barrel Markings - ???

I have 22 PPC that was built on a BAT action by Jerry Simison.

The barrel has some marking that I would like help in identifying. Pic is attached.

I think that the 244 ND refers to the required outside neck diameter, but what is the .095?

My thanks, in advance, for some help/advice.

Many thanks guys! I've run some new 220 Russian, and also some new Norma 22 PPC brass though a Redding 22 PPC full length sizing die, and trimmed the lengths to 1.495 OAL. I've also outside neck trimmed both brass to .238-.239. They won't chamber. Any suggestion(s) on what I should try next>

If it is a PPC short, how do I proceed?
If they dont chamber its most likely 095 short
make a cast of the chamber to know for sure

Then you either have it rechambered to a full length PPC or make some short brass

good info here on forming brass

Waldog and short ppc brass is not difficult to make, it does take a little extra time but not much.

I'm going to try forming the brass. Thanks again, guys, for all of your insight and help! Much appreciated!!

I think it is .095 shorter than a standard .22PPC. The other number is the chamber neck dia. I suggest you PM Mulligan about forming brass.

Years ago when I made some 22PPC-.100 cases, I just used an cheapo used 22-250 f.l. die and kept shortening the back end until a 220R Lapua case with the neck cut off it would just chamber with a stripped bolt. A shortened 22-250 die is actually what Mike Ratigan recommends for the 22PPC-.100 in his book. -Al
