22 lr Tuners

Hi Lee,
No, I am not saying they can take any lot. All I was saying is that they use the slow/fast round method when tuning. When the 2 intersect into 1 hole I guess they're done. I'm sure they confirm it & may even adjust a few clicks in either direction to fine tune. I don't know. All I know that thats how they do it & I've witnessed their results.
Happy New Year Lee!

Keith
Hi Keith, Thanks for explaining I also should have said any reasonably good shooting lot as may it seem like I meant just any lot. I believe what you are saying as to the method being used to tune with.

The method of using slow and fast lots I am very familiar with, and you could say that is what I am doing too. but since I don't chrono the lots I use I can't verify that say a lot marked 324mps (1062fps) is really at that velocity. so, I don't like to say that I am using slow and fast but FWIW to validate a tuner setting I must be able to take random lots and be able to shoot a group that the shots intersect. but I don't believe I am seeing PC

You have a Happy New Year too! stay safe

Lee

"PC doesn't work and never will work." Personally I don't see how political correctness affects tuners, but I agree with you.;)
