Well, I don't quite agree with the no crimp part of your explanation. Most 22 shells show a fairly pronounced crimped mouth around the bullet. jd

Maybe you need to re read my post, nobody said anything about the lack of crimp, OP if they were done “just like a CF” and as I stated they are not like a CF. Obviously RF’s are crimped, they are a two diameter slug pre ignition.
