22 long rifle sight in?

I have a CZ rifle in 22 long rifle with a 3 to 9 Weaver scope and bases, sighted in at 50 yards with American Eagle .22 long rifle 38 grain hollow point.
Where am I hitting at 25, 75 and 100 yards.
Also if I am sighted in 25, 75 or 100 yards, where am I hitting?
If any one has this info and is willing it would be real nice.
Dale

With your rifle and ammunition I can't say precisely where you're hitting at longer ranges but if you want to start with an idea, I've found that (on average) the drop in a .22 LR at 100 yards runs about 8 or 9 inches. Because you're zeroed at 50 yards, you may find that your bullet path runs something like 1/4 inch high at 25, zero at 50, 2 1/2 inches low at 75 yards before it reaches its 100 yard path point of 8 - 9 inches. A .22 LR is a very small pill and it doesn't take much to deflect it so laying out meaningful expectations for open range (as opposed to indoors) is kinda difficult.

Best way to know is go shoot at those distances and make a chart for YOUR ammo and YOUR gun. Just like any round, any other numbers that somebody gives you are just a general guideline.

LAPUA 40X,
Thank you for you info, if you know the data for 75 yd sight in would nice of you know it?

IF your American Eagle 38gr hollowpoint ammo is the #AE22 round that I am familiar with, you can use an online ballistic calculator using a G1 BC of .131 and assuming an MV of 1260 fps unless you have an actual chronograph velocity. Measure your scope height and crank that in, and set the range increments at 10 yards, then run calcs for a 50, a 75 and a 100 yard zero. The 10 yard increments give you some real interesting pictures of what's going on if you are analyzing .22RF out to 120 yards or so.

Some years ago when I got a Ruger 10-22 T rifle with a Burris 6 X Target AO scope I too wondered about the bullet path between 10 and 100 yards. I had tryed various brands of ammo and found the 10-22 liked Winchester 22 LR HP PP ammo. I first set up targets at 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 yards. I first checked the markings on the AO scope and put new marks on the scope where the scope was parrelax free at each range. I sited the rifle in at 60 yards followed by shooting five rounds at each of the other targets. Because of the bullet drop at 80 yards I then shot at targets set at 70 and 90 yards. The shooting was off a benchrest . Prairie dog pups are small targets but there are a lot of shots within 100 yards. I ended up doing most of my shooting with the 10-22 at p dog pups within 75 yards and used a accurate 22 WMR rifle for shots between 75 and 140 yards. Past 140 yards I used a centerfire vatmint rifle. --- Every rifle barrel is a bit different so expect a different muzzle bullet velocity from your rifle--- The only way to know what your rifle is doing is to shoot it a various ranges off a steady bench rest.
