.22 Hornet chamber corrosion

My Ruger #1 in a 22 hornet has been giving me trouble for a while with hard to extract cases. Finally took the bore scope to the chamber and it looked like it was coated with brown suger, crystals and all. I scrubbed it with various methods and got it to this point. The neck portion of the chamber is spotless and about a 1/4 up from the base is too, its just where the body of the case contacts the chamber. To me the pictures show particles raised up from the chamber or I am I seeing pits? If its pits that's fine but if its raised material I'd like to knock it down, used everything but a stainless tornado brush and thinking about that. Whadya think guys? Looks like a chemical reaction to me. Possibly your cleaning solvent too aggressive and some remained in the chamber? Just a guess.....

Are you not using a bore guide and also not mopping/cleaning the chamber when you clean the bore after shooting ? Therefore leaving debris in the main chamber body and causing the contaminating.

Chrome Moly?
Use some JB on it.
I use bore mops after cleaning my guns to make sure there's nothing left in the chamber, using a bore scope to inspect works wonders too.

Yea, not cleaning the chamber got it in this situation.

Used JB, and bore paste and it helped a little. Used the scotchbrite and it looks better and I'm sure Ive fixed the case sticking problem, the magnifiction makes what is left probably worse than it is. Just need to pay attention to cleaning the chamber from now on and should be fine.
