My Ruger #1 in a 22 hornet has been giving me trouble for a while with hard to extract cases. Finally took the bore scope to the chamber and it looked like it was coated with brown suger, crystals and all. I scrubbed it with various methods and got it to this point. The neck portion of the chamber is spotless and about a 1/4 up from the base is too, its just where the body of the case contacts the chamber. To me the pictures show particles raised up from the chamber or I am I seeing pits? If its pits that's fine but if its raised material I'd like to knock it down, used everything but a stainless tornado brush and thinking about that. Whadya think guys? Thanks
