22 Hornet case trimming

As some may have read earlier I purchased a 22 Hornet a short while back. I wanted one for years.. Now that I have one it has been a PITA to reload.. The latest problem has been that my RCBS electric case trimmer will not adjust short enough to trim the Hornet brass.. I had given my Forster hand trimmer to a friend as arthritis makes it very difficult for me to use a hand trimmer.. So I had to borrow my trimmer back and even then I had to remove the stop to reach the Hornet brass..

So Hornet loaders how do you trim your brass?
Inquiring minds wanna know!

The wilson trimmer with the drill adaptor or electric screwdriver instead of cranking the handle.It is the most accurate trimmer out on the market and the simplest way to get it square.

mine usually only lasted 2-3 reloads before they were junk so I never trimmed. I bought a bunch of brass and then some other gun caught my eye then another and... Have to dig one of them Hornets out and shoot it tomorrow if its not snowing!

For my hornet I use a simple lee hand trimmer hooked up to my drill...very quick and easy peasy. I won't get too fussy trimming my hornet brass as it seems to shoot very well even when my trimming is off a touch.
