22 Dasher Powder?

Is there a powder of choice for the .22 Dasher? Planning to try 55-90gr. bullets in 8 twist barrel. Thanks for your insight. DW

I use AR2208,varget to you guys) in my 22BRX with 69gr nosler custom comp bullets in my 10 twist barrel. I think varget would be the best for heavy bullets, but with lighter ones like the 55gr models, try H4895.

I to would like to know what has been working well for others also. I am in the process of trying a few things in my new 22 Dasher with 75 and 80gr pills. only been out to the range once so far with formed brass. varget showing promise but seems a little on the fast side. H4350 also showing promise but seems to be a little to slow. I will know more after this weeks trip to the range. any one used or had good results with something along the lines IMR4007 or N540?

Try AA-2520 with the lighter bullets. I've been experimenting with 50 gr Noslers on a 22 Dasher with 14 twist. It is real easy to get 22-250 velocities at mild pressures. I was between nodes and still got reasonable accuracy,too fast but not on the faster node)I'm going to try some 50 gr Bergers today and see if droping to 3650 fps yeilds more accuracy. I think/hope it will. The thing I like most with my 'new' fireform barrel is with the brake I can see my hits.
