22 Dasher Norma. Any Positive Experiences?

Have been considering building a 22 dasher. I have around 300 pieces of the original Norma 6 dasher brass and it sure sounds appealing to not have to fireform. Any one out there having positive experiences with the 22 Dasher using the Norma brass.
Thanks in advance.

I built a 22 dasher last year and compete with it every month at a siloute varmint match out to 600 yards. It has been the gun to beat unless tnose pesky winds come up, and then its tuff for anyone. 8 twist, 1.25" krieger, panda action mcmillan mbr. You will like it.

I have about 700 rds down my Norma 6mm Dasher. Very accurate rifle using with 105 hybrids. Comparing it to other people using regular Dashers with fireformed Lapua, I see no difference.

May require modifications to the extractor. Also it takes a special shell holder. Also sold on Grizzlys website.

Itd be a great gun. I'm going to the 22 BR after I wear out my 22-250AI barrel out.

22BR/22 Dasher.. take your pick. It is a top notch caliber either way.

Thanks for the replies! I was mainly looking to shoot 53-60 grain bullets, what do you think, 12 twist?
Get a 12 twist so you can shoot the superb 53 gr V-max which is a high BC requiring at least 12 twist

Yea that 53 grain v max looks to be the right choice. Any reputable smiths out there that has a reamer for the 22 dasher using the Norma brass?

My experiance with the 22 dasher maybe 6 years ago wasnt great. Ok cartridge but temperamental and accuracy wasnt as good as a 6mm dasher. On paper it looked good though. I was speaking with Jim Williams, a very good tuner and he had some .22 on the br case that he said he had going really well, but with 75 grain bullets. He said he couldnt get the 90s to shoot as well. They may be too much bullet to get that top level accuracy out of??

As soon as I get my Borden Rimrock 28"8tw Krieger in a stock I'll let you know. My plan is the 80 grain A-Max but as we all know the barrel will let me know....

Info on the 22 Dasher in the Norma case would be great.........;)

Given more time has passed since the release of the Norma Dasher brass thought I would ask the question again. Anyone using Norma brass for the 22 Dasher, if so what are your experiences are you having? Thanks.

I just completed my 22 dasher build. 1-8t shooting 80gr. So far showing great promise with Hornady ELD's. Also showing great promise at 600. Using 4350 for powder. I am moving to Berger's at this time. Absolutely no recoil. Very fun to shoot. Using Norma dasher brass..
