22 Creedmore yes or no ?

So I’m looking to everyone here with 22 Creedmoor experience. At the moment I feel this will fill my needs. I’d like to use a 62 grain TTSX and 60 grain Partition running 3800 fps. Possibly try to talk Tika into putting something together for me or Bergara needs to be left handed and hopefully 8-10 lbs.
are my expectations reasonable anyone have any experience with either of these bullets in this cartridge. What should I expect for good and bad like barrel life??

Might I ask how many rounds you got out of a barrel? Also what the load is ?

8T barrels for 70-80gr seem to be the preferred choice among 22 Creed coyote guys. I’m a 22 GT fan and the 62 ELDVT doesn’t hold up well above 3300.
A Lefty kauger action would work too.

I had a Ruger No. 1 built. I/we built it around the Hornady 62-grain ELD-VT. I went with a 26-inch, 9T at the guidance of both gunsmith and barrel manufacture. The word is, the 9T might not stabilize the bullet of choice. I will be starting load development next year. My fingers are crossed. Both gunsmith and barrel manufacture reasons for doing a 9T was for less pressure and a little more barrel life.

I wanted a long range 22 cal. centerfire for varminting. I debated over the 22-250, 22-250 Ackley Improved and the 22 Creedmoor as mentioned. It came down to the 250AI and the CM. I didn't what to fire form 500 pcs of brass, so I opted for the CM that you can find brass for, knowing it has a short barrel life. When it's shot out, I will consider my options. Re-barrel $695

Accuracy fell off at @1200 rnds. Almost all were either 37.0gr of Varget or 42gr of H4350 with 80gr Hornady ELDms. A few were 69gr SMKs 42gr H4350. Yes, fairly warm loads but I wanted the 22 Creedmoor for its velocity potential.

About what I expected. Hot rod a 22-250 and expect any thing else?

frankly why get a Creedmoor and shoot such lite bullets?
they are designed for heavier 22 cal. bullets what you seek in such lite bullets can easily be handled with a Swift or 22-250, my take on it anyway.

I would think the difference in barrel life would be in the 10's of round.
GRT doesn't recognize a difference in max pressure between a 7.7 vs 9 twist. In fact, it doesn't recognize a difference in max pressure for any twist.

I’m shooting 80.5 Bergers at 3400 without pressure signs and excellent accuracy. Best coyote rifle I’ve ever had. I believe you can get the velocity you are looking for.

If you check load data from Barnes, Sierra, and Hodgdon they don't get those speeds. IMHO, Hornady over promises and under delivers, i.e. the 7mm PRC. I am sure if you are fortunate to get a fast barrel and run it over pressure you will get there. Just my 2 cents.
