22 Creedmore and 7/ 6,5 PRC Bullets.

Howdy I have been looking for what brand and weight bullet that are being used for 600yd match shooting for these 2 cartridges.
Forgive me for asking because i'm sure this has already been talked about. I am New to Br. shooting and gathering as much info I can.The 22 has 7twt 26". Some Load data would be great also. Thank you for your time. David

Can you clear up that second one? I think you mean you necked up a 6.5 PRC to 7mm not the other way around?

On the variations of the 7-6.5 PRC like the 7 PRCW etc., the Berger 180 hybrid is by far the most common because those folks generally also play at 1000.

On the 22 CM, you will need to narrow down what twist and bullet weight range you want to play with. It is sometimes possible to compromise with the twist to try and shoot the heaviest and into the lighter ends or also the other way around where shooting the heaviest is risky. So, 8 twist or up to the 6.5 twist or something in between?

Sorry.
Yes the 6.5prc necked up to a 7mm.
The 22 creedmore has a 7twt 26".
Looking to find out what guys are shooting for 600 yds.

You can try all of the popular 80 grain match bullets of which there are many.

Sierra SMK 80, Berger 80.5, 85.5, and so on since most of the major brands offer their versions of match bullets in your weight range. Then you can also play with the 90s if you find it worth it.

You can also try the ones like the Hornady 90 ATips but be prepared for their sticker.

If you are just starting out, you can learn much with the ones on sale, and as you approach more competitive scores you can worry about a bigger share of the budget on better bullets, including the custom ones.

Some more suggestions will come along. Good Luck and in for the range reports.

Thanks.
I have 85.5 Hybrid, thinking of trying
N-555, H-1000 and H-4350.

I was just breaking in a new 22 Creed bbl (7.5 twist) the other day. The rifle shot very well @ 400yds with the Berger 85.5 and 7977. My velocity was only 2,950fps because I started out light while forming new Alpha SRP brass. Reportedly, you should be able to get in the 3,200fps ballpark without excess pressure.

I think your H1000, which has a near identical burn rate to IMR7977, would be a good place to start.
