22 Contender will shoot

Few years ago decided to shoot rimfire match’s at the gun club. I use to shoot this Contender in silhouette matches. Mounted Sightron 36X power scope on it. The barrel is a match chamber and it loves Lapua pistol king ammo. It was funny to see some of the rifle shooters shaking their heads when they saw my scores. Targets are at 50 yds

When I shot NRA Small Bore Hunter's Pistol Silhouette back in the late 70's to mid 80's, the T/Cs with rifle scopes ruled the range.

All the Master Class shooters I knew shot this system using T/C 22 LR with match barrels, mostly with 6X Leupold rifle scopes.

Ken Light manufactured several bases for TC’s and XP’s. He passed away a couple years ago. His website is working now. Someone else was making them but can’t find him. If you look on IHMSA.org they show up forsale

I have a 15 3/4 “ Bullberry 17 HMR Match with a 7x Burris target pistol scope that will hang with most factory 17 HMR rifles at 100 yds, using A17 ammo.

I came off the lne in the 12 sate Region Championships with my 10" Bull Berrel production Contender. Got my Drulov unlimited gun out, went to the line, for the five sighters, first shot the Drulov broke the firing pin. So I went and got my 10" TC that I shot first and went back on the line in time to start the first target, first bank in my Unlimited gun match. When the dust settled the Region high unlimited trophy and the four gun aggregate trophy is setting on my desk. 100% by the rules. I shot with 4 folks that were shooting custom XP-100s in 22 LR. plus a couple Hammerli guns and a few custom built 14" TCs. So not too bad for a production 10" TC. They will shoot.
