22 cal Tipped MatchKings 69 gr. From 22-250

i am just curious, and maybe you have had no need to experiment, but how is varget in comparison in your rifles?
Varget does outstanding for me, especially with 55gr and heavier. But still had not been able to best IMR 4064 in accuracy with the desired velocity that i was trying to reach.

The latest Hornady manual skips H4350 my favorite 68-69 grain powder. I also use H414 with 68-69 bullets. Still playing with Miller vs. JBM and are getting real close with taking 2/3 (.67) the tip length. With no tip both are identical. Read about the .22-.250 using heavy long bullets in the Berger manual - makes the .22-.250 into some major long range round.

I have not tried Varget. I dont think i have any left. I will need to look through my powder and see.

Maybe i will pick up a pound and give it a try. I am open to anyth anything.

I love the 250.... it has been my #2 go to round for many things. But, still the #1 round in the 6mm Remington.
