22 BR??

Anybody build a "22 BR No Turn neck" chamber???
I don't want to turn necks!
I figure I'll measure a necked down, loaded round, get the measurements and go from there.
I'am figuring that the chamber neck measurment should be about .250?? Maybe .003 or .004 above the OD of the loaded round. Any input? Thanks. Mike.

.254 is how I went and it works fine with Lapua brass.

What was the OD of your loaded rounds??? I'am guessing .248 to .250?

Everyone's info is spot on.
.254 chamber is just right
Loaded rounds average .2515"
You should be fine with any lot # of Lapua brass.

Just got my dies today so I'll find out for my self before the nights over!

Didn't take long. Did 25 cases and you can hardly feel it when you size the brass. My loaded rounds came out to .252 with new unfired brass.
Need to find a barrel maker with a short throat reamer with a .254 or .255 neck., or get my own )
Can't see getting a reamer for just one barrel.
