I'm thinking of getting a 22 BR barrel chambered for my Savage. I would like to shoot everything from 55 grn. bullets up to 69 grn. bullets. What would you knowlegeable guys recommend for rate of twist and freebore?

Re-chambering the 1:9 .223 savage factory barrel should do you quite nicely. nice boost in velocity also.
A change of bolthead and a re-chamber and you should be off and away.
