22 br on groundhogs

I shot the barrels out of two 22 BR's on dog towns in one Summer using 50g Nosler ballistic tips with R#15 at 3800 out of 24" barrels.

Swap out that 45x scope, it is the WRONG application for short range field shooting. 55g Sierra Blitz kings are unreal accurate, and I would certainly try the 53g V max.

I wish you had a 26-28" barrel. Barrel weight reduces muzzle climb, then add a muzzle break for instant spot on your target. 21" with a muzzle break is darn loud. Without a muzzle break, you are going to need a 19 lb gun to see your hits.

IN a 10T, you may entertain the 60g tipped match king.

If you have a good drop chart and a range finder the wind is the biggest factor.
