It'd be much more informative if you guys stated what velocities you're getting, yes barrel length and twist are nice too.

1/12 twist 25" LV Shilen SS select bbl, trued Rem 700.

Yes those things are important for sure but when I shoot +- 1 inch groups at 400 yards consistently I really don't think about that stuff much. I'm shooting a 28" 8 twist HV contour. I haven't chronoed it yet.

I tried the 64’s, 55’s, then bought a box of v- max’s , as suggested on this site, never looked back.
Got load data for H 322, h4895, benchmark, 4320, as well.
I’ve never tried vv135..

I’ve bettered my test target @ 200yds.

Switch barrel rifle now, 6.5x47l

26 inch, 1-12 twist barrel

64 grain Berger match, Fed 205 M, starting load at 29gr N135 finishing at 30.5 which was over pressure. Accurate load was 29.6 giving 3328 fps but that was using a CED M2 chronograph.

52 Amax, CCI BR4, starting load 29.5gr N135 and finishing at 31.5, no obvious pressure signs. Accurate load was again 29.5 giving 3540 fps.

Combined technology 55 grain silver tips, Fed 205 M, starting load 29.5 gr N135 finishing at 31.5. No real accuracy and didn't pursue it.

The only two powders that I use these days are H322 and Benchmark, H322 being my favourite .

Great info, thx! So H322 + Benchmark edged out the VV powders, less accuracy?
