.22 Ammo Testing with the Ruger 10/22

So I got brave and bought 5000 rounds of SK Std. Plus.
(I knew I wasn't going to get the same lot number as the ones I have being they are over a year old.)
So it was a $595.00 crap shoot.

So I got lucky again:

So I got lucky again
Often times Wolf and SK will shoot reasonably small groups, but then there is that one round that... It is sometimes called "Cracker Jack" ammo. There is a surprise hidden in every box. A friend and I were both two points down going into the last target in a prone 1200 match when I heard a "pffttt" from his direction. That seven at six o'clock cost him the day. More expensive ammo generally has fewer the flyers.
