22-6.5x47 Lapua 90 grain Bergers

Can anyone give me an estimated velocity for a 22-6.5x47 Lapua shooting the 90 grain berger VLD from a 1:7 twist and 28" barrel? Thinking this would be the perfect 600 yard and beyond prairie dog rifle. I would like to be able to hit 3150 fps with an "extreme" powder (varget, H4350, H4831, etc...). I would have the barrel melonited to get me more than the 1000 rounds of barrel life i would expect/guess. Was thinking a 22 dasher but dont want to do the fireforming and the regular 22 BR wont quite give me the speed i want. And i dont want to do a 22-250 or 22-250 AI because i want to use the small primer pocket Lapua brass. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Using Quick Load defaults and a COL of 2.725", to stay out of the "Doughnut" and maximize case capacity, using 100% fill of H4831SC will get you there. 100% fill of H4350 will give you a bit more but at 65.8K psi which is greater than the recommended. Hope this helps and buy QL, you'll love it! ;)

I am using 32.7 grs of H4350 in the 22BR right now with the 90 gr Berger.
I have been following your progress, and your results are what lead me to want a high velocity accurate 22 cal.

Thank you MR. Quickload is on my list of wants, along with a magnetospeed chronograph, and a borescope. $$

Test so far with good brass has proven productive.

That was the first guess, according to come ups, over 3100, but actually, I have yet to have the opportunity to run them over a chrony yet. If I can find a data cable here at the house I will see if I can do so here today. I will get back on that one.

two fellows where I shoot have built rifles shooting 90gr vld one in 22-250 and other is 22by47 lapua both have 1 /7 twist both have had success using Imr 4007 ssc powder with lots of speed

I have used N560 with good results starting at 34.5grs. & work up. I used Moly 90gr. Berger VLD w/Wolf large rifle primer. The load with the best accuracy was at 2979 fps.
