Well that's gonna work for many bullet weights a designs perfectly. If you are like most of us, you will want to probably do a faster twist barrel eventually to get the most of the 22-250 case. The 9 works very well throughout most weights but for the 80+ grain vld type bullets, the 8 will really shine. Some even say the 7.5-7.75 is best for the 90s. Now with the 95 SMKs coming out, I think getting in to the 7+ twist barrel is necessary.Well here goes again... So i decided NOT to wait.. I just bought a brand new Savage model 10 action that has been trued..I also bought a savage factory 24" barrel 1-9 twist... I will be mounting this in a MPA chassis..I hope to shoot 75 gr vmax with this rig..On top will be a bushnell DMR II i
3-21-50 so i should be able to see..On occasion i will also be using my clip on night vission unit...
So what do you all think ???? Pros,Cons ???
This will mainly be used by one of my grandaughters,But of course i will get to play some too...
