22-250 hornady 75 eld-m

Going to load up some hornady 75 eld-m with h4350,would it be better to test groups at 300 yards for these,or will 200 yards be ok?
savage action,shilen 26 inch,8 twist

Since no ones posted... I’d do whatever I could get to the targets the fastest and easiest until I had it narrowed down. Nice sounding setup

I would think with an 8 twist he'd be ok on the twist rate, my 9 twist works well with 69gr and 70gr. I run ladder tests at 200yds and when possible seating depth tests at 300yds but my factory Savage barrel is short throated and I don't have much room to move my bullets around.

36.2grs of H4350 is what mine liked with that bullet and the 73gr berger both. I do my development at 100yds in low single digit winds.

+1 on starting at 100 yds for initial work. You can always go to 200 once you have something to work with. Conditions can really give you grief at 200, especially with no flags.:D:D
