Howdy !
just exactly what are you trying to accomplish, case forming-wise ?
The term “ fire formed...... to create brass “ seems to imply you are trying to form .22-250 from some “other “ case, to create .22-250 brass.
Beyond that, fire forming is usually performed in a dedicated chamber that has the appropriate dimensions. Oft times, fire forming is followed up w/ minimal resizing/controlled resizing of the fired cases.

Answer No. Did you not compare dimensions on the two cases in your reloading book and see the difference ?
Nope just run 243 brass through the die
