22-243 Middlestead

Just had a 22-243 built on 700 with 26" Hart standard neck. Any loading data out there. Using a 80gr SMK's with a 1 in 8 twist.

Ok I see I've had some lookers. Maybe a little more info. I plan on using R-25 and was wondering if I need mag primers. Was starting out with 210M. Do these 80 grainers like to be seated in to the rifling or not? Thanks ahead for input

my favorite load with the...... 22-243 no improvements just necked down. lapua brass, 47.5 h-1000, 80 grn sierra, fed 210 primers, bullets just touching lands. this load was tuned for my rifle and shot well in 2 other rifles without any changes. all rifles were chambered by the same smith and same reamer.

This thread caught my eye and I have a question. Is there enough difference between the .22-243 Middlestead and the .22-243 A.I. to warrant one over the other? I already have a .243 A.I. and the way I see it, my existing dies for the .243 A.I. should work with the proper neck sizing button. Are there any pros or cons to the above or any tips for fireforming brass?

I have been shooting a 22 Cheetah for some time. It is very similar to a 22-243 AI. This thing is dynamite on prairie dogs out to 600-700 yards. I shoot the Berger 62 and 64 grain bullets at about about 3775-3800. My cases are made from Lapua 243 brass utilizing the large rifle primer instead of the of the small rifle primer of the original version.
