Case Capacity is about 53 grains of H2OCase capacity?
COAL with this load?
Thanks for your input. In my experience with large 22 caliber cases like that, you will likely run into pressure problems way before you get the velocity that your cartridge is capable of. In other words the H4350 is a bit on the fast side for that case. You might take a look at 4831SC or some H1000. Both have shot well and offered optimal velocity at that charge weight.

What bullet were your shooting in the 22 creedmoor with n160?Another suggestion for that case is VV-160 or VV-165. Reloader 26 works, but you might as well be loading unicorn eye lashes because you're about as likely to find the hair as the powder. I've shot VV-160 in one of my .22 Creedmoors and it was the right burning rate, so I would think the 165 would be the better bet in your larger case.
I didn't use it as a every day load, only tested it for accuracy and velocity. The 160 was virtually indistinguishable from Rl 26 which I have more of. I won't quote load weight since every barrel is different and what works for that barrel may be excessive for another. I will say that it was 2/10 of a grain less than where unacceptable pressure signs showed up in 6mm Creedmoor Lapua brass. It would shoot a 69 Lapua Scenar 3550 out of a 21 inch 4 groove Krieger. What bullet were your shooting in the 22 creedmoor with n160?
Would you mind sharing your barrel specs and load?
Sausage fingered that. 2.825Please check your COAL measurement.
Thanks!

They make more barrels every day, and I have a credit card. So what's the problem? What a barrel burner. LOL
Agreed. Barrels are cheap. They make more barrels every day, and I have a credit card. So what's the problem?![]()

Many years ago when I had my first 6-284 built I asked the smith that was building my rifle about barrel life with a 6-284. He was kind of a funny dry sense of humor old guy and he told me "son, I can't tell you what other gunsmiths do but I thread all my barrels so they screw on and off, I don't not weld them on." I think that was the last time I ever asked a gunsmith about barrel life. They make more barrels every day, and I have a credit card. So what's the problem?![]()
