21st century priming tool?

Those who use it do you adjust where the handle is at bottom of the stroke when primer touches, then adjust clicks to get the amount of crush..... Guess as instructions state

OR

adjust tool so about half way on down stroke the primer touches and seat primers by "feel"?

I let the handle bottom out .

And adjust so you feel primer touch at bottom of full stroke?

I've used this tool over year now, and wanted to re visit this question. I have been using the second method mentioned above. Going by feel once I feel primer touch pocket

In my case, CCI 200 primers in uniformed pockets, 12 clicks out happens to be the handle bottoming out just as the primer touches at 0.005 depth. Tried the feel technique and decided that for me, I like the handle bottoming out.

I bottom out to have the primer 0.002" below flush. Works fine for me.
