21st Century Power Conversion for Neck Turning Lathe

Reviving an old thread here but I'm interested in hearing more about the "more to come". Specifically I'm wondering if anyone has tried to use a 21st century for neck reaming?

I've got doughnuts after bumping the shoulder back too far, a few times too many. From what I've read, reaming is a better solution than expanding and turning them off. However, I haven't seen a precision solution for reaming besides a lathe that can hold 10 thou... Not exactly an easy fix.

Would love to know what/if anything people have done to try and ream using a 21st century (powered or otherwise).
