Dave, this is the coarse adjustment model. Just loosen both of them up and you can position the top up and down. What are the two lock screws on the main shaft for? I have the same stand and those two screws are not present on my stand.

This is my first front rest, I have never shot any benchrest comps in my life, but I must say, I cannot believe I don’t see more of these being used. I am assuming people just don’t want to change from what they are familiar with, because this rest is just awesome.Pete needs to send me one to put on display at the UBR nationals in September, of course I'll need to use it a while so I can answer any questions!
sounds like you need to buy a secondMine doesn’t have the course adjustment screws but we still love it. In fact, I rarely get to shoot off of it because my girlfriend claimed it as “hers” after the first time she shot off of it.

When you move the joystick for horizontal, is there any tendency to accidentally move the knob that adjusts vertical? This is my first front rest, I have never shot any benchrest comps in my life, but I must say, I cannot believe I don’t see more of these being used. No.When you move the joystick for horizontal, is there any tendency to accidentally move the knob that adjusts vertical?
I can barely afford to own one, let alone two.sounds like you need to buy a second![]()
None from what I’ve seen. When you move the joystick for horizontal, is there any tendency to accidentally move the knob that adjusts vertical?
No.None from what I’ve seen.
Nice shooting. I can’t ever imagine the hybrid X rest being the weak link in any shooter’s equipment selection.Managed this 5 shot group today at 310 yards using the hybrid x. Not sure how because that 2” dot was a blob with the mirage, but ill take it!
