21st Century Custom In Line Seating Die

Wondering if anyone is using one of these dies? Searched the forum and found just one post about them. I’ve been using a Wilson for a long while and am considering ordering one of these 21st Century ones. They sound really nice, but I don’t know of anyone that is using one.

I spoke with people at 21st Century the other day and they said that they are all out of stock right now as they have been building other tools for a bit now. They gave me the prices and said that it is about a ten week lead time on them. I agree about the Wilson, but these appear, based on what I have found out, to be seating on the ogive, not the tip of the bullet. I’m just not sure how much of a gain that would make. I’ll try and squeeze out edge I can though, if it works. Just am not sure about pulling the trigger on one yet.

I think it’s the best thing ever made by anyone in the industry. Perfect for load developer and consistent. Personally I think it’s John’s best invention...but very work intensive to make...

Main reason we have not been offering them for some time is that our machines have been busy on regular jobs. I am going to make these available again and pricing will show on the website soon. There will be at least a 6-8 week wait initially and that can change depending on demand. We have you send in three fired and sized pieces of brass and three bullets of each profile you load. We match up the die body with the case dimensions and the stem is built per the bullet's ogive. The stem holds the bullet perfectly so as there is no pronounced "ring" on the bullet jacket after seating. Everything lines up perfectly in this die.
