21 century #br driver vs #4 driver, help please

If anybody has both, can someone tell me the difference. I tried calling 21 century, but they must be busy or closed for holidays? I want to order case holder and driver for 6.5cm lapua brass. He has it listed as #br driver and not #4 driver, which is srp driver. But the lapua brass is srp. So I’m wondering what the difference may be

Thanks

Hello Dan

The part number you will need is the 907-BR for the case holder and driver for the lathe. Part number for the case holder driver and drill adapter is 906-BR.

To answer your question These use a #2 case holder and a #4 driver. The #4 case holder is for the 223 family. The #4 driver is used for multiple cartridges. Sorry for the confusion!

Pete, thanks for the response. So to clarify to make sure I have this right, he #4 and the #BR driver are the same one? I can use the same one for lapua 6.5cm srp and 223. As long as I have the 2 different case holders?

Dan

The only difference between the two is the the center outside diameter. The 4 driver’s is smaller than the BR. See picture. Left shows a #2 holder with BR driver and the right shows a #2 holder with #4 driver. Both drivers will work fine. We found there is no difference in function between the drivers used. So yes you can use the #4 for both with different case holders. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Ok. Then can I get the part number for the #4 case holder w/ #4 driver? I already have #2 case holders.

Thanks
